Through professional and personal networking, we got in touch with the owner of an SME who was looking for advice and for new ideas in a complex environment and difficult conditions.

The motivation to bring a family business back to life in a complex sector with big players, but with clear opportunities to gain a slice of the market, was the most important starting point to boost the business.

Development of the Project

The creation of an Advisory Board had never been proposed before; thus, based on the contributions of several professionals and the External Advisor, it was agreed to set it up. This step was decisive for gathering ideas and knowledge about the business and to discuss present and future options. Several meetings were held individually and with the entire Advisory Board in order to implement the agreed strategies and action plans.

Results

The company took an important turn in its sales evolution and market presence, has recovered and has been growing year after year, with its own products and from third parties, diversifying nationally and internationally, and finally consolidating its position in the sector.

Regular meetings of the Advisory Board are held to monitor the set objectives and strategies.
